Who are we?
The JMJ Catholic Home School Support Group is a group of individuals who, out of obedience and faithfulness to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, take seriously the call to be “the first and foremost educators of (our) children.”1 We have responded to this call by choosing to educate our children in the sanctity of our homes under the guidance of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.
As a Catholic homeschool support group, we welcome our brothers and sisters in faith to provide mutual support, prayer and encouragement, sharing information about home schooling, and offering educational and spiritual opportunities that would otherwise be difficult for individual families to provide for themselves. Encyclical Letter of John Paul II, “The Role of the Christian Family in the Modern World, Familiaris Consortio,” nos. 36, 40; Second Vatican Council, “Declaration of Christian Education, Gravissimum Educationis,” no. 3.) |
